I am an artist, and art is a language for communicating.

  why is your chapter important?  
 

Public speaking is a performance that includes voice, imagery, body language, rehersal, poise, and all of the elements an actor uses. Speaking for an audience provokes the greatest fear among most of us, so the more prepared, the better.

  what is your favorite memory of Christmases past?
 

When I was working on NBC's Saturday Night Live, and Gilda Radner and Lorraine Newman got together and got all of us on the crew gifts. It was the same show I got to paint a background for a sketch in an elementary school Nativity.

  name a turning point in your life that makes you smile.
 

The day I was called an "artist" by the designer who contracted me to create paintings for a commercial project. One should never call oneself an artist, but wait until others do.
